In June 2023, Nichol Lane was part of a Metro Nashville street repaving project. Today, the street remains unfinished, while neighboring Canterbury Lane is complete with white lines that border the entire surrounding area.
E-mails to local lawmakers have not been successful at providing a timeline for completion.
Therefore this petition serves as an official request from Nichol Lane residents to finish the block. Nichol Lane serves as one of the more walkable streets in Nashville, as it leads to Percy Warner Park. However without sidewalks, the white lines provide a very small measure of safety in addition to aesthetically matching all neighboring streets.

Ridiculous that they just stopped halfway. Canterbury got theirs done months ago. Just finish the job already.

Walk this street every single day to get to the park and it feels way too dangerous with the cars flying by. Need these lines painted asap.
