Full Time Paramedics with Lambton County Emergency Medical Services have be advised that on Monday December 11th, 2 Paramedics from each station will be replaced and made to spend the shift at one of the County's Long Term Care Facilites. We have the understanding that this time is to be spent Job Shadowing RN's and RPN's to find out what they do in their facility. We, the Paramedics of Lambton County are opposed to being replaced and forced to spend the shift at a Long Term Care Facility. We also feel that the time and money involved would be better spent in a training course that benefitted our patients.
