It is now clear that the old industries that sustained the Island are dying out and are no longer feasible, and radical change would be required to make this great place sustainable once again.
Renaming Charlottetown, New Vagas, would be just the first step that would mark the transition to time proven industries with no attached expiry date.

LOL imagine the tourism boost! People would actually have a reason to visit now. New Vegas sounds way cooler than the boring name we have.
