The city council cannot ignore the massive surge of opposition to this artificial turf disaster any longer. We have officially proven that the residents of Newport Hills will not let them destroy our only real park space.

RIDICULOUS. Why would you ban dogs and picnics in a public park? It makes no sense to turn a community space into a restricted zone for athletes only.
artificial turf is a huge mistake. my kids love running barefoot in the grass and we have our family birthdays there every summer. leave it alone.

Keep the grass! Kids and dogs need a place to actually play and relax, not just run around on plastic. Don't ruin our neighborhood park.
