We are opposed to the city taking over the ownership of Lincoln and University Park from "Single Family Residence" to "Public and Community Facilities".
We believe that rezoning will give the city the first action steps to making changes to the current open space.
We do not want changes to Lincoln Park or University Park. In particular, we STRONGLY oppose construction of park related buildings and facilities such as public restroom, skate parks and playground equipment.
The city council continues to dodge our questions while they plot to carve up our neighborhood parks for their unwanted construction projects. They think if they ignore us long enough we will just walk away and let them destroy our open space. I am currently digging through their zoning records to expose exactly what they are planning to build behind our backs.

The city officials thought we would roll over and let them pave our parks but these numbers prove they were dead wrong. The momentum is undeniable and the local government is finally starting to feel the heat from a community that refuses to back down.

Ridiculous idea. Whoever thought this up clearly never spends time in the area. Hands off.

Keep our neighborhood parks exactly how they are. We dont need loud skate parks or big buildings ruining the quiet space we have.

Absolutely not. My kids play there everyday just as it is. We dont need giant concrete structures destroying the grass.

Keep it residential. No bathrooms no skate parks. Simple as that.
