I have submitted a formal proposal to the academic curriculum committee outlining the student demand for a sign language elective. I am currently awaiting a reply from the registrar to confirm when this can be added to the official agenda.

The administration has acknowledged the volume of interest regarding the new elective. I am currently finalizing a formal proposal to present at the upcoming academic senate meeting.

YES PLEASE. way more useful than half the electives they offer us now lol
This would be so cool to have. I have wanted to learn for a long time but never had the chance to take a class for credit.

Learning sign language is an amazing skill to have in any career path. really hope they actually listen to us and make it happen.
