It is urgent to me and I'm sure it is for those students who are deaf and hard of hearing at Abington Heights High School. We currently do not have an American Sign Language(ASL) class, only a club. I am petitioning for the school to create this class hopefully for my senior year. If not, then for future students to help improve communication and reduce exclusion created by this barrier. Please sign if you believe it would be beneficial for us to add this class to the curriculum. I plan to talk with the school administrators to make this happen. Thank you.

I think it is important that more people know sign language and I would definitely take this class.
