There is a group called 12th Man Thunder who is encouraging bars, DJs, and other businesses in the Western New York area to ban Bon Jovi from Buffalo. Here is a quote from their site:
A registered BON JOVI FREE ZONE applicant agrees to the following:
Bon Jovi Free Zone
BAR/NIGHTCLUB - Bon Jovi songs will not be played by the DJ, live bands or on the jukebox at your location.
BUSINESS - Jon Bon Jovi is banned from your location.
BANDS - Bon Jovi songs will not be covered by your group.
DJ's - You will not play Bon Jovi songs at any time.

We feel that this is an infringement of civil liberties and that if customers want to hear Bon Jovi music they should not be censored by these business owners. In addition, we feel it's wrong for this group to try to control the diplomatic process for buying a sports team by trying to eliminate potential interested owners based on their own biases and opinions on the team's future with that new owner.
