This is a petition to keep the name New Years Day as a band name. I and the below under-signed have a connection to the name of the band. New Years Day was, and even though they are not totally together anymore still is, an amazing band that went beyond the regular boundaries of pop/rock music. New Years Day as a band is special to all of us in some way shape or form for various reasons. Us as fans should get a say in the matter of the band name as we are the people that have supported this terrific band and it's name. We fans bought their music, wore shirts, and displayed their stickers and helped to spread the name of the band. And of course without the music of New Years Day we would not totally be who we are. Music does so much for everyone- it can make you smile when you are in need of it, it can heal a broken heart, it can bring back memories of the past, and it can even connect us to the future. PLEASE consider keeping the name New Years Day as a band name.
