Despite concerns being raised by traders of the town and the wider public, the town has seen another increase in parking charges to now also include Sundays.

Parking charges should not be allowed to increase revenue to a council that feels its not accountable to anyone other than itself.

It's a sorry affair when council officials are not able to express the views of the people they represent without fear of backlash from their peers.

Neath has much to offer with many new businesses coming to the town and leisure and community activities to be proud of, however all this is being undermined by committees that seem to forget what makes Neath a special market town and feel it appropriate to finance their white elephant projects on your money and peoples' livelihoods.

110 traders within the town centre have signed a petition. The council official that has the answers doesn't feel it a priority he meet with these traders or their representatives.

Car parks are provided within the town to allow the community they serve to enjoy what this historical market town has to offer.

Please sign this petition and let the council know that enough is enough and you're not willing to subsidise their bad decision making any longer.

We would like a review on parking restrictions and tariffs that will ensure it's not-for-profit and one that will help the traders and organisations that support our town centre.
