Although my business is not in the Town Centre, the fact is that raising the parking fees helps no one except the council. It should be common sense to anyone that right now when the local economy is not doing as well as we're told by our politicians, that increasing the financial buden on customers and therefore traders is not a good option for growth. But since when have our council had common sense?

I like to attend Church on a Sunday afternoon and resent having to pay to go into a ghost town because that is what Neath is. Shame on you Neath Council. rents too high for shop keepers so loads of closures and now Sunday fees. you are a disgrace.

the increase is crazy and starting to charge for the car park by the mission on a sunday is absolutely rediculouse. swansea are stopping fees on sundays to encourage people into the town and u are starting to charge. maybee you dont want people to come to neath or maybe you dont care because it doesnt affect you?

If our town is to thrive having one day at least where parking is free is vital! We are already competing with out of town retail parks who wouldn't dream of charging for parking and so come on NPTCBC give this town a fighting chance!

I think it's disgusting that the price has increased to that amount and also charging to park on a Sunday when hardly any shops are open in Neath is absurd! Even Swansea has free parking on a Sunday.
