Neighbors of 800 Presidio Ave. hope to work with current developer Equity Community Builders, the Mayor's Office of Housing, and the Board of the Booker T Washington Community Center in order to design a project that meets the goals of the BTWCC but fits better in size and scope to the neighborhood by adhering to current codes.
We need the help of fellow neighbors and San Franciscans to develop a successful affordable housing project that can be a model to The City.

Equity Community Builders and the Mayor's Office of Housing continue to dodge our requests for a real conversation about the size of their project. We are drafting a formal letter to the Board of the Booker T Washington Community Center to force them to treat our neighborhood with respect.

That building is totally out of scale for the block. We need housing but not at the expense of every bit of sunlight we get.
The neighbors are right about this one. Look at the traffic it will cause. Need to rethink the design.

Seriously. Keep it to the neighborhood code. Nobody wants a massive tower looming over their backyard.
