Final supporters
As new owners of the Northbridge Hotel we are trying to bring the pub back to the local it deserves to be. Over the last few months, we have worked incredibly hard to return the pub to its former glory and anyone who has visited lately would have seen the evidence for themselves through all the new and exciting changes we have made.
Local Council are currently forcing us to shut down the pub at 11PM as apposed to 12AM under the threat of notices, fines and legal proceedings even though our liquor license allows us to trade until 12AM. These shortened trading hours will severely affect our ability to make further improvements to the pub and make it extremely difficult for us to continue to support and sponsor local sporting teams and charities.
Anyone who has visited (or frequents) the Northy B knows that it is one of the safest, friendliest and trouble free pubs on the North Shore. Our emphasis on families and the local community is second to none. We are here for the community and will do everything in our power to reverse these restrictions so that we may continue to serve Northbridge and our loyal patrons. Dont let Council ruin all the momentum we have built up over the last few months. Get behind your pub so it can continue to improve and serve you better!

The council is still digging their heels in despite all the paperwork we sent over which is honestly just exhausting to deal with. I spent the morning reading through the stories people are leaving on here and it is a good reminder that this place is so much more than just a building or a license.

Seeing this much energy behind the Northy B is honestly surreal because I honestly thought we were fighting this alone until you all started showing up. It is wild to think about how much we have all built together and I am just sitting here staring at the screen trying to process how we keep this movement growing.

KEEP IT OPEN TILL 12! The new owners are doing such a great job with the place dont ruin it now.
Ridiculous. Northbridge isnt the same without a decent pub to go to after dinner. They have really turned the place around lately.
The Northy is the best spot around. Council needs to leave them alone and let them run their business. 11pm is way too early especially on the weekends.
Stop the restrictions!! We love the food and the staff are always great.
Ive lived here 20 years and its finally actually nice to go there again. Council has better things to be doing with their time.

Such a family friendly vibe there now. Really unfair to punish them when they are trying to do right by the locals.
