This petition is set in place for the Slip Holders of Navajo Lake Marina. During this time of the COVID-19 we have been restricted full use and access to our personal houseboats. We understand that some of these restrictions are set forth by the Sate and are out of your control. With this we ask that while these restrictions are in place that the Marina have some financial consideration towards us Slip Holders. We understand that you are still providing partial services for storage, maintenance and hopefully security; however we are not being provided with 100% service from the Marina. We are limited to day time only access and the marina is not currently open providing full services, all of which we pay for within our monthly fees. With this we asking for the Marinas consideration to help compensate for this while the current restrictions are in place. We do not wish the Marina any hardship at this time all we ask is that there be some consideration towards your year round valued customers. We appreciate your consideration during this time and hope that you can see our view point.

The marina management has received our petition but they have refused to address our request for a fee adjustment. We need to escalate the pressure by emailing the marina office and calling their main line to demand a fair response. Post this link on your Facebook page so the rest of the slip holders see that we are united.

The momentum behind this petition proves that marina management cannot ignore our collective demand for fair financial consideration. Now we must turn this pressure into action by emailing the marina director directly to request a meeting about our monthly fees.

I agree 100 percent. I feel we should be allowed to go to our houseboat with our own boat as long as that’s all we do
It shouldn’t be difficult to respect the social distancing guidelines. Obviously no big parties or family gatherings. It would just be nice to go chill there for a bit, have a drink or two, get some fresh air then go home.

We are paying full price for nothing right now. At least give us a discount if we cant even stay overnight on the boats.
