No more qualified, or better choice than Coach Shuff.
We need to make out voices heard on this one Glenville, time to put GSC Basketball on the map, and there's no better way to do that, than hiring a hometown guy who was a great player for the College himself!

Steve deserves a chance but will never get it simply because of the politics that exist in Gilmer County and GSC. I am a graduate , have coach there and know first hand how it operates . Only a vey select group has any say and it will always be that way. If you aren't in that group you have no chance.
You won't find anyone who would be more dedicated to having a successful program at GSC! He will put his heart and soul in the program. It's disappointing that we need to sign a petition for him to have an interview. GSC used to take pride in having past players come back in positions such as this. Make us proud Pioneers.
Coach Steve shuff was the best coach I have ever had. He has this way about him to push you until you have nothing left. For years he has been shaping the young men of GCHS. If anyone can take GSC anywhere it is Coach Shuff.
Steve was a great player at GSC and was one of the most successful high school coaches in state during his time as head coach at Gilmer Co High School. He at least deserves an interview and in my opinion would make a great coach at GSC.
Steve played at Glenville, lived and raised his children in Glenville, has extensive experience as a head coach and a very successful career as far as wins go. He is a perfect fit for GSC, and I should know as I am an alum.
No coaching experience at college level...no recruiting experience...no rules experience....no job!
Hope he gets the position I always really like him!

I've sat beside Steve on the bench many years, and I know that you will never find a more dedicated, organized, enthusiastic and hard working coach as him. Maybe your goal isn't to have a successful basketball program. You want to pack the house? Give Steve a chance.
