Glenville hasn’t won for twenty years. So why not give a home grown guy a chance.

I’ve known this man for a lot of years. He had a chance to leave MANY times to go to bigger and better things. But Glenville was his home.
He has never been a junior high coach. He has never claimed to be the most experienced. He coached two years of college with Gary Nottingham. He has won over 400 games. But what he has been is true to glenville.
Furthermore. Quit hiding behind anonymous names or concerned citizens. If u feel that strongly. Put your name here and stand proud. No need to make up a fake name.

what a community embarrassment! Really, some junior high coach deserves to be a college coach? Only in Glenville....We can do better, can't we?

I've sat beside Steve on the bench many years, and I know that you will never find a more dedicated, organized, enthusiastic and hard working coach as him. Maybe your goal isn't to have a successful basketball program. You want to pack the house? Give Steve a chance.

My son had a proven college coaching record, is a Glenville graduate and was never given a chance for a basketball position there. He was passed over by people with vey little experience because he wasn't in the group. So sad to see a few pass over local people to fulfill there own power egos.

Steve deserves a chance but will never get it simply because of the politics that exist in Gilmer County and GSC. I am a graduate , have coach there and know first hand how it operates . Only a vey select group has any say and it will always be that way. If you aren't in that group you have no chance.

As a Glenville State alum, I’m so disappointed that Steve Shuff is not being interviewed/highly considered for the job. The guy is a GSC great and can’t get an interview?? WOW! I 100% support Steve Shuff to be the next Glenville State College Men’s basketball coach!!!
