Coalition of Nabco trainees is a non-partisan civil society group made up of trainees under a flagship program in Ghana; Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), which has employed over 100,000 graduates.
Our concerns in no particular order of importance, are as follows;
1. Unpaid allowances
2. Unplaced trainees
3. Bad working conditions.
Numerous Challenges and setbacks not to talk pf hardship have befallen trainees since the take of the flagship program. Trainees are now frustrated with a major disease we are battling with called arrears.
Most trainees have to grapple with discomfort, unpaid allowances, bad treatment and communication, extortion and inadequate placements.
The silence from the authorities is heavy but I am still spending my days documenting every single one of your stories so they cannot be ignored. We are exhausted by this uncertainty yet we have no choice but to keep pushing until our basic needs are finally met.

Seeing this momentum grow is exhausting but I refuse to let up when so many of us are still struggling to survive the arrears. Getting this much attention proves we cannot be ignored any longer regardless of how tired I feel.

NABCO trainees deserve better, also we need permanent employment. Mr President do something before December elections.

For how long are we going to be treated like this? We will work for good 4 months without getting what is due us. What crime have we committed to deserve this kind of punishment? Very disheartening. We deserve better.

It's so pathetic that there's no communication to Nabco trainees for us to know why there has been delay in payment of allowances...These same politicians will come and tell the media they've paid all trainees #tsk
