The College of Staten Island MSW department is in dire need of a writing tutor. Several of us are required to work with a writing tutor and all of us can benefit from the additional support. Prior to this term, the department has had a small handful of MSW-specific writing tutors. Alas, those individuals have since graduated and the current student body is lacking the necessary support we once had. No current students are able to fill the position so we are urging the administration to look to past employed individuals, specifically Nadia Davis and Lucia Rossi, to fill the roll once more.
Please sign this petition to implore the Dean of Health Sciences and the institution's provost to allocate the necessary funds to return our previous writing tutors, who are graduates of the program and willing to fill the position.

The administration has acknowledged the volume of interest regarding the writing tutor vacancy. I am currently finalizing a formal proposal to meet with the Dean of Health Sciences next week to discuss rehiring Nadia Davis and Lucia Rossi.

Please consider Nadia for the writing tutor position available. Nadia is exceptional in the craft of writing as well as amazing in teaching that craft.
It would definitely help me if I have someone who knows about the social work field to be able to guide me in writing papers I have never done. I would have struggled more if it was not for my classmates.

In the past, I used to receive tutoring services and I strongly believe that many students together with me would benefit from tutoring.

I've personally worked with Lucia for one year on my writing and she was a huge help. Please consider them for the positions of the writing tutors for the MSW department.
