We recognize that recycling plays an important role in maintaining a healthy and sustainable environment. As a higher education institution, it is important that the Morehouse School of Medicine provide a good example and have facilities for such a program. I have been in meetings with facilities staff this week to discuss where we can realistically place new bins on campus. It is frustrating how slow the progress feels but your stories about why this matters keep me pushing forward.

Seeing this kind of movement toward a cleaner campus fills me with so much hope for the future of my school. It is clear that my peers care about our environment just as much as I do, and this momentum proves that change is coming.

WE ARE A MEDICAL SCHOOL. We should be leading the way on this not lagging behind. Get some bins out here.

Its honestly embarrassing that we dont have basic recycling bins all over campus yet. Fix this asap.

Finally! I have been throwing my plastic bottles in the trash for months because there is nowhere else to put them. Do better school.
