Mr. Brayden Gordon to maintain the role of Principal at Garibaldi Highlands Elementary

We, the undersigned, would like to request that Mr. Brayden Gordon maintain his role of Principal at Garibaldi Highlands Elementary.
GHE is the largest elementary school in the district with a projection of over 500 students enrolling in the 2017/2018 school year. There are 13 new teaching positions to be filled for the coming school year. We need a strong, supportive, and long term leader to ensure consistency and stability for the staff and families of GHE during this time of growth.
Mr. Gordon is an exemplary administrator, who has already created a strong and supportive working relationship with the staff, the trust of the parents, and the respect of the students.
SD 48 is a community focused district, and has a reputation for listening to the voices and concerns of the people. We ask that you reconsider Mr. Brayden Gordon's appointment as Principal of Stawamus School, and appoint him as the Principal of GHE for the coming school year of 2017/2018.

The feedback regarding Mr. Gordon's leadership continues to reflect a deep appreciation for the stability he provides our school. Current efforts are focused on coordinating a formal discussion with district representatives to ensure our request is reviewed by the appropriate officials.

Mr.Gordon has been the most wonderful teacher for my son and so many others. The change I have seen in my child since having him has been outstanding. Please let us keep this wonderful man who has made such an impact at GHE and on our Children.
If Mr. Gordon could stay (and wants to stay) we would be so grateful to keep him even for another year than loose both principals at once. Our daughter looks forward to his "warm welcome" outside rain or shine daily. He's a gem in our district.
Would be wonderful for the kids to have a consistent, loyal friendly face as principal, if he is expressing this interest.
Would love to have Mr. Gordon remain at our school. While it is understandable if he's unable to given other commitments, I hope he considers this petition as a tribute to the positive impacts he's made. Where ever he goes, our world is a better place with someone like him teaching our children.
I truly like Mr. Gordon as a person/school administrator. He is a great advocate for our school. I believe GHE needs a great leader through it's expected growth. If Mr. Gordon wants to stay, I would be in full support of this. 100%

Please keep Mr Gordon at GHE, with so many changes, it is the right decision!

It would be a great loss for our school to lose Mr. Gordon. He has such a great connection with the kids and parents. Please reconsider his appointment and allow him to be our principal next year.
