The momentum behind this petition proves that the people of Hereford are sick of the Council ignoring our local traditions. We are finally forcing these bureaucrats to acknowledge that the MPL Hereford Open is an asset worth saving.

Used to come for this every summer. It brings a lot of people into town who actually spend money at the pubs and hotels. Don't let it die off.
Help them out. Its good for the local economy and people enjoy it.
Been going for years and it is a highlight. So many visitors come from all over for this. Council needs to get their act together and help out.
Boggles my mind that they wont support a competition that draws so many people to the city. Just give them the backing they need.
TOTAL SHAME. keep the event going. we need more stuff like this in hereford not less.

My husband plays every year. Its a great event for Hereford and keeps the leisure centre active. Why are they making this so difficult for the organisers?
