Dear Members of the Morris School Board:
I request approval to add Ed Yock to the name of the Morris Baseball Field. .
"We, the residents and Alumni of the Morris community and school district in which the above person, Ed Yock former baseball coach and employee of Morris Public Schools. __________ signed hereunder or on the reverse side of this page, do hereby petition the above members of the school board to become a candidate for the renaming of the baseball field in Coach Yock's honor, based on 3o plus years of faithful service to baseball team, the school and as a respected member of the Morris community. We do further petition that this matter be placed upon the official agenda to be voted on at the next school board meeting.

This is long overdue and deserving of this man. Coach has guided so many of us over the years and the life lessons I learned out on that field are still with me today. Joe Fowler Class of 1994
Played sports for the man, and had him as a teacher. He deserves it. One of the few I looked up to as an adolescent attending Morris Schools. I was never one of his favorites, and he was just as hard on me as anyone else, but he had integrity and I respect him.
He was my coach from 7th grade throughout the rest of my high school career. He was more than a coach, honestly more than a mentor. He was able to be a person all the same. He deserves this as much as coach bookout deserved the football field being named after him. Thank you
I umpired many games on that field for Coach Yock. He has had a great influence on many Morris student athletes. The field SHOULD be named after Coach Yock!
Class of 2001. He told me if I didnt get my fat butt in gear i would never start for him. That was in 7th grade, I was starting by sophomore year because of how he pushed all of us. Taught us how to be something.
Great man who deserves to be honored for what he did for so many kids!

I can't think of anything better than going to see my kiddos play ball at "Ed Yock Field" someday. There will need to be a warning sign for people to not ask "Who is Ed Yock?", though. Otherwise there will be 50-75 people lining up to start telling stories. Everyone has at least one, lol.
