Are you aware that on the 6th May 2021 Oaklands school will be again used as a polling station for the local elections. This means that 2 schools and a nursery will be closed, denying pupils yet another day of education.
Following the pandemic and vastly reduced amount of schooling for children, I find this unacceptable and believe that an alternative site should be used.
I refuse to believe that another location could not be utilised for this purpose, therefore allowing our children to attend a valuable day of education.
If you agree that an alternative site should be used please sign the petition below that has been organised in conjunction with Oaklands school.
