Under the current rules at Okaloosa STEMM Academy, only six people are allowed per lunch table. This is quite frustrating, as eight people can easily fit at the STEMM tables. In my experience, we had a friend group of eight, which was perfect until the lunch lady introduced the rule that only six people could sit at a table. This split our group up and caused a lot of tension between us. It a so sad to lose members of friend groups, some of these people who leave don't have many other friends which can make them sad and lonely. This can sometimes lead to these kids not concentrating on their schoolwork.

This is definitely an issue. The tables are way too big to accommodate only three people on each side. At my lunch table, we used to have at least five on each side, and we had plenty of room. Three is ridiculous! Seeing people have to separate to different lunch tables is just sad. Also, are we only supposed to have five other friends?
this is so unfair they are making us only have 5 friends which is not okay. when we are around more friend we learn how to communicate with different types of people.
We used to be able to sit 5-6 people on EACH side of the table, now we have a maximum of 3 per side. This causes us to choose who are you closer with and better friends with.
With the current rule of 3 to a seat, 6 to a table, anyone with a keen eye can notice the clear gap in between the people sitting at the table, a gap you could easily fit a person into. I personally believe that the rule should not be removed but be modified to fit 4 to a seat and 8 to a table.
I think this 6 people only rule is unjust, because I got invited as a sixth grader to sit with seventh grade bc I had no friends, there was 6 eight seventh graders, so not just me but one other had to sit alone. Plus the bus seats are a long smaller and they hold 3 people so these table are able to hold at least 8 people.

For one of my friends, i don't have any classes with them. the only time i can see them is at lunch, and now sometimes we have to sit at different tables and we are unable to talk to each other, and i think our friendship could suffer greatly with a lack of communication.
