In our school, the uniforms are usually poorly fitted, the shirts are an awkward widths, the pants are too tight from the top or loose from the bottom, and etc. We all believe that we should have more options as the ones we have are a bit difficult to wear at times. The school could make skirts for the female students, and make alterations to the shirts, and provide more sizes without being uncomfortable for us. With quarantine and a hault in school, the school probably has a lot of time to be able to create new uniforms, and many girls have agreed to wanting to wear skirts as they are more comfortable and suitable with the hot weather in Dubai.

I have been hearing from so many of you about how restrictive these uniforms feel during the long school days. Your stories about the heat and the lack of comfortable options have only confirmed why I started this and I am currently working on a formal proposal to take directly to the administration.

Seeing so many of you connect with this issue reminds me how much my own sister struggles with these uncomfortable uniforms every single day. The momentum behind this movement feels incredible and proves that we all deserve better than what we have now.

i hate the shirts honestly. they never fit right and i just want to feel comfortable at school.
YES PLEASE. the uniform is literally impossible to fit into correctly and i have been complaining about this for years.
definitely need skirts because the heat in dubai is way too much for these heavy pants.

I would really like to wear skirts to school because it makes us more ladylike and girly except wearing the same things as the boys.
