Dear Monte Vista HOA membership,

After one of the board's member resigned on 05/09/2018 the position was open and an owner from the community decided to volunteer and applied for the open seat. The board failed to conduct a vote for this vacancy for unknown reasons. Important business such as the construction project needs to be conducted. We need well balanced board and sound decisions to be made. I urge you to sign this petition and exercise Section 5.7 of the Bylaws.

This section says: "If a Director position remains vacant for more than sixty (60) days, the Members may elect a director to till the vacancy, using the Secret Ballot Procedure."
