• Oppose increasing traffic on Agua Fria by hundreds of additional daily car trips from the proposed “Dos Acequias” sub-division;
• Oppose using Montaño and Velarde Streets as an access to the “Dos Acequias” subdivision;
• Oppose the re-zoning from R-5 to R-7 because our neighborhood is not equipped to handle the additional traffic -- traffic that would increase danger and congestion on Agua Fria.

Agua Fria street is a driving hazard now and has been for years. I sometimes have to wait for minutes to be able to pull out of my driveway at 1802 Agua Fria. R-7 zoning is not appropriate for this development. If you made an entrance to Cerrillos, maybe... My vote is NO!

833 Osito Place. Velarde can not handle any more traffic and is not an appropriate entrance or exit for this new subdivision. Agua Fria in this area is already very busy due to it being only two lanes and the existing traffic. Rezoning this plot and developing it with 80 homes would be terrible for this neighborhood.
833 Osito Place. I am strongly opposed to the increased traffic caused from re-zoning.
623 Velarde St.
Our neighborhood can not afford 200+ more cars on Agua Fria and safety precludes opening up Montano and Velarde to through traffic. 941 Nicole Place
200 + cars will impact the traffic on both Agua Fria and Velarde and reduce emergency access , NOT improve it.

Velarde street isn't big enough for current residents vehicle traffic, not to mention large emergency vehicles. I'm not opposed to development but it has to be sensible or you will have many angry residence and possiblly fatal accidents that shouldn't have happened.
