The Monkey Room is a neighborhood bar where many residents go to socialize, watch sporting events, and simply to relax. It's one of the few places in the neighborhood who's prices are affordable, and offers a laid-back, casual atmosphere. It's owner and his family, have been a part of this community for over 40 years. He has been a consistent sponsor of teams with the neighborhood Little League, he has been a supporter of the Carlos M. Perez Scholarship fund, which benefits local kids in offering scholarships to parochial schools, and he has been a donor to many other worthy causes that benefit the neighborhood.  The Monkey Room has also served as a place of employment for many local residents over the years.  We're asking the local residents to help keep our neighborhood, ours.
