Hello Neighbors, my name is Carmen and some friends and I would like to bring a Local Family Friendly Restaurant & Full Bar hosting both Sports and Live Entertainment in the main building, Pizza & Sandwiches (open late eve.hrs.) Coffee & Doughnuts (early morn. hrs.) to Old Town Camarillo. We need the support of the local residents to convince the Camarillo City Council that our Restaurant would be both a welcomed and much needed addition to the area.

Our idea is to create a place that locals can call their own and with that in mind we have chosen the all too familiar former site of the Tommy’s Diner and Swedish Motor Works. Empty and abandon nearly 6 years now it has become an eye sore. Our team wants to change that by remodeling and incorporating the existing buildings into an architecturally stunning focal point on the boulevard while preserving a local landmark familiar to all! As a person who has traveled around the world I know and Dorothy said it best, “there’s no place like home,” Camarillo charming and with the perfect weather lacks that one great place to gather with friends and family in the beautiful California sun. As a fairly new resident I noticed right away that most of the restaurants are in strip malls and chains, of course with the exception of a few,  and none much patio space to brag about, a full bar open for breakfast, lunch and dinner that is family friendly. The city would like to put up a 3 story retail, office, condo complex and sites that there   are already a few restaurants down there and don’t see the need for another one. I beg to differ in that every great town that most people visit; Main Street always has a restaurant row. It’s a great formula for helping local retailers creating foot traffic and best of all in these times jobs for community members.

Picture a Swanky Modern Americana Diner with good home cooking at reasonable prices, something for everyone...including picky eaters and vegetarians too! A place for your friends and family to gather for special events...team awards, baby showers, managers meetings etc... An area to showcase local talent for adults and kids alike! Imagine a stage and podium where you can watch your child get recognition for their achievements, oooh's and awe's from the Local's as they hear their name's being called out to get that trophy or watch them sing their little hearts out while everyone applauds. Not just another sports bar for the men but a place where moms and the kids can meet after a great game of pinto baseball, fast pitch softball or soccer and not only feel safe but welcomed! Relax while the kids play in the arcade, pool table and darts for all and a great place to park and show off that beautiful old car to all your neighbors at the only carhop in town! You won’t have to drive to the next town anymore or go to the usual pizza place wham bam thank you M'am, for appropriate accommodations. Large outdoor patio seating safe because it’s set back from the street, car hop service, a dance floor and a variety of live music & entertainment to satisfy everyone’s taste!
