We the undersigned request that Milwaukee Tools UK bring their warranty in line with their US counterparts- that being 5 years on power tools and 3 years on batteries- and furthermore honour that warranty on any part that fails through normal use as performed by the intended target market of said tools, without exclusion.
Milwaukee tools demand a premium price yet currently offer a worse warranty than that provided with the own-brand tools of low-cost high-street supermarkets, who operate a no-quibble refund policy covering every aspect of the tool, battery or charger for a period of 3 years.
If Milwaukee Tools US can confidently back their products with a superior warranty then why should UK customers buying the same tools- and if anything paying a higher price for them- be denied the same warranty?

I have been reading through the comments all morning and it is wild how many of you have had the exact same runaround with their customer service department. It feels like we are all talking to a brick wall but at least we are doing it together now while I try to figure out who exactly to email over at corporate to make them acknowledge this disparity.

I really thought this might just fizzle out in a week but looking at how many people feel exactly the same about these warranty gaps makes me feel way less frustrated about my last broken drill. It is honestly surreal seeing so many tradespeople chiming in because I was just annoyed that day and decided to start a page while sitting in my van waiting for a delivery.

About time Milwaukee sort there warranty’s out. And bring them in line with the u.s warranties.
I’ve now on my 5 th m18 fiwf impact wrench . And been told my warranty was void because the fan on the fuel models can suck water in to electronic and damage the unit and also over use . I bought Milwaukee because they calm to be the toughest tools . I not a happy costumer as most of these units are less than 6 months old when they pack up . The electrics still work but the rear armiture assemble spline is worn out . I’ve argued this and been ignored .
Sort yourselves out Milwaukee, until you do my money is going to Festool
Premium price should be premium quality
