Hey everyone! We are starting this petition to have coach Michael Haynam reinstated as head coach of one of the 4th/5th grade Massillon Ohio football coaches. Michael goes above and beyond with all of the kids he has ever coached. Not only does he teach the kids the game of football, but he also teaches the kids more about life and right from wrong. He applies the correct amount of discipline needed for these kids without going overboard. Please sign this petition to have Michael Haynam as our head coach again so that he may continue to teach these boys!

The local board thought they could just push Coach Haynam out quietly and nobody would notice. This surge of support proves they were dead wrong and now they have to face the community they tried to ignore.

Coach Mike is the only reason I want to play football. I'm a big kid for 11 (5'7", 205 pounds) He teaches me how to hit instead of making me be a tackling dummy for other kids like the other coaches. He helped me believe in myself and made me a better player, I need him. The team needs him.
He is a coach that really cares about the kids - he's willing to guide them, push them to excel & give them all the right tools to get there. He doesn't show favoritism like some coaches do - he teaches the kids to do better & be better. When my son thought he wanted to give up Mike ran right beside him and helped him believe that he could do more. WE NEED HIM - and more coaches like him.
He doesn't play politics,puts kids in the correct positions to succeed.If you want kids to leave the program for others,hire another coach so he can put his kid at Quarterback.Massillon needs good coaches for the feeder program.Keep Mike for the kids.
I have had the pleasure of coaching with Mike in the past few years. Mike not only teaches kids the proper way to handle themselves on the field, but off the field as well.
This coach is simply put, amazing!!! He is great with the kids and has gotten my son to open up in ways I never though possible!! When my son was having a hard time in school I was able to turn to his coach and he helped...not only with football but with his self esteem, attitude and school work!! He needs to continue coaching!!!
He is one of the best people in the world & definitely deserves this spot !!!

Coach Haynam has been my coach for a few years, he has taught me the game of football, and has taught me to respect myself, my team and my family. Not only did coach worry about the team, he also worried about us as people. He made sure we were doing the right thing off the field with our grades in school, respecting our parents and so on. There were times I was being difficult for my mom and coach Haynam not only made me run extra, but also talked to me about my actions. I am moving up next year so I wouldn't have coach Haynam again, but I have brothers moving up and I want them to have him as a coach so they can learn as much as me.
