skateboarding has kept me from joining local gangs and trying stuff like PCP. so imagine the positivity a skatepark could bring to our community. instead of seeing that one of my friends got killed due to gang violence, i wanna see some frontside inverts!!!

This would ultimately be the best thing for the youth in the community of Springfield. Keep them out of the streets and in a clean skatepark that will be supported and respected by the skateboarding community.

Instead of putting skate stoppers everywhere, and forcing skateboarders to either break laws or stop what they love to do, Springfield shouls

West Springfield received a skate park through donations and the young males love using it. The area is small but is a great draw. My motto for teens is keep them busy and keep them tired. This is a fantastic idea to burn off some energy. My suggestion is to build it somewhere they will be able to show off their skills, getting positive feedback for their ability to stick with the sport and do well, and securing the space under ramps so they don't become forts and private hangouts.
