Yee Vallardes’ decisions are guided solely by her business relationship with En Fuego CEO, Alex Corral. In a little over two months Vallardes has allowed Alex Corral and En Fuego to completely takeover every aspect of this league. Give these kids back their league. We are here to provide for them, they are not here to provide for you or Alex.
On December 8, 2024 Metro LL board approved an agreement with EnFuego. The approval was not unanimous, there are still a few people on the board that are looking out for the kids. The price EnFuego is charging for uniforms, equipment , and services is $250 per child, the same price as registration at Metro Little League. Would post agreement here if I could. The momentum behind this effort proves that parents are done watching En Fuego dictate how our kids play ball. Post this link to your neighborhood Facebook groups today and text three local families who need to know about this board betrayal.

What she is doing is illegal, she is sharing information to Enfuego. So that Enfuego can recruit kids due to low numbers. Which is a violation against little league rules and regulations.
The original purpose of Little Leahue baseball was to teach the children life lessons through the core values such as teamwork fun and integrity. Metropolitan league seems to have been taken over by 2 individuals who are only looking out for themselves and what they can gain not what the children can gain through teamwork and integrity shown to them. This was so children can have fun in a safe environment and a sport that treats them as equals no matter what their financial means. Charging excess fees will only eliminate those less privileged financially
The City facilities are being used for the benefit of an organization for profit of the business only. Metro League and the board should look up for the benefit of our children only and the actions of Metro shows that they’re looking into the President’s pocket and the travel team organization. Bring baseball at an affordable price for our children.
Give our kids back their league. While watching my godsons baseball games The president on multiple occasions was seen receiving and drinking alcohol. Allowing the parents to drink while watching the games. She obviously does not have these kids best interests at heart. She needs to be removed.
What EnFuego has done and plans to do - Hike up registration fees to $275 - Eliminate draft, En Fuego will select players for Little League Teams - Eliminate All Stars Selection, En Fuego will choose who makes All Stars - Have full control of fields, teams will have to request field practice from En Fuego - Have full control of the snack bar - Cut the season down to 10 games - En Fuego will be the supplier of uniforms - En Fuego will supply coaches for Metro LL practices. Metro Coaches will only be allowed with their teams for games on weekends
During ESPN LA's visit to Metro last Saturday, city council members and Odalys Valladares lied about the park's benefits for the community. In reality, they want the park to go away completely. They are NOT there to help the kids, they are there to make money!
Alex Corral is a bonafide conman, and Odalys knew exactly what was going on. She can’t play dumb forever. They did much more than just violate Little League rules!

You must sign up for Enfuego in order to play for Metro. They informed me that my child cannot participate unless I sign up for both. It is not acceptable to use threats like that towards children.
