Watching those recycling trailers overflow at the edge of town is a constant reminder of how much we need this service for our homes outside the village limits. I have been talking with neighbors who are tired of driving their bins into town and I am working to ensure our area is not left out of the expansion plans.

We have to take our glass into Peoria to recycle. I would like to see single stream recycling in our area.
I do not live there but I support reclycling everywhere. I hope my signature will help you all!

We lug our recyclables to my mom's in Germantown Hills....just a few miles away where they DO have curbside recycling. There is obviously a need for it in Metamora, since the bins in town are constantly overflowing.
