Petition to the City of Wanneroo for the enhancement of facilities and services in the surburb of Merriwa WA for the benefit of ratepayers and youth living in this area. Call for planning and funding of a Skate Park, Adventure playground, toilet facilities, BBQs and more beautification of the area to be developed in Merriwa. Planting of Jacaranda trees along Connolly Drive for example. Merriwa ratepayers have sat back and watched over the past two or so decades new suburbs develop around them with far more facilities in these surrounding suburbs. It is visually evident the difference when driving along Connolly Drive, the disparity in surroundings in Merriwa compared to Clarkson and Butler. Merriwa ratepayers are tired of feeling like 'the poor cousins.'
