On two separate occasions, KPRC (Local 2 News in Houston, TX) has filmed news stories regarding the current Medicare IVIG (intravenous immune globulin) crisis. On both occasions, a number of very ill people have made themselves available to your reporter in hopes of bringing attention to their devastating situation. We are extremely disappointed that KPRC has never aired either of these stories. It seems to us that the fact that chronically ill Medicare beneficiaries are being denied life saving treatment warrants air time. We hope that by getting our story out to the public, we might be able to influence our government to provide the treatment we so desperately need. We, the undersigned, are asking that KPRC air our story in order to bring the attention deserved to our current crisis.
Reaching this level of visibility proves that people are finally starting to pay attention to our struggle. The weight of this fight is heavy but seeing this level of support keeps me moving forward.

This is ridiculous. People are suffering and they just ignore it? Air the story already KPRC.

My family is going through this and it is a nightmare. Everyone needs to know how bad this is right now.
