We the homeowners of Marine Creek Ranch oppose the development of la d proposed for multi-family dwelling re-zoning by the developer for the following reasons:
- Decrease I commercial zoning on Cromwell Marine Creek
- Insufficient business infrastructure, ie. Hospitals, Groceries stores
- Insufficient police and fire department presence
- Insufficient roads to accommodate increased population
- Increase in crime with multi-dwelling housing ( note: increased crime at 820 and Huffines after apartments were built)
- Original neighborhood brochure promised single family homes and did not illustrate apartments
- Support historical preservation off Marine Creek and its rich history in Fort Worth
- Environmental concerns over wetlands, wildlife and 100-year flood plain surrounding Marine Creek

I agree with all the concerns stated in this petition. We have only been in this neighborhood for a few months but have quickly found out how inadequate the roads are for handling the current traffic.
My name is John Calbow at 5717 spirit lake drive fort Worth, Tx. 76179. I’m opposed to building apartments as my privacy will be affected in my pool area due to the slope of my back yard which is directly on Huffines road. This will also reduce the value of my home. Reference ZC-16-070
I've lived on Spoon Drift for 27 years. It takes me longer to get n the freeway than to drive the rest of the way to work sometimes. The house rentals are bad enough, but more apartments would threaten our infrastructure even more.
I oppose the rezoning for the reasons listed above. Many of roads are in the MCR vicinity are unsafe because they are desperately in need of widening and repaving. We cannot accommodate the increase in population.
I am in agreement of all the reasons stated as to why the multi family units should not be built in the proposed location. I am not against affordable housing, gnus is just not the right location.
I am opposed to these development plans.
I have 2 small children and my backyard backs up to the greenbelt. Having apartments on the other side of the greenbelt makes my house and many others vulnerable to theft.

As mentioned in this pettition, we the home owners purchased in this development with the understanding that there would only be single family homes, this will significantly decrease our property values. I would most likely put my home for sale should the rezoning for multi family be approved.
