Petition: Matteo’s should not be kicked out We disagree with McGill’s decision not to consult us and/or other members of the law community concerning the decision to not renew Matteo’s as a food provider at the law Faculty. We believe that Matteo’s should not be replaced until the Law community is consulted through the Law Students Association, Professors, and the Student Body. Furthermore, We are disheartened that Law Students’ input was not considered in this decision and feel that these types of decisions should be sensitive seeing the student-centered nature of McGill and the services it offers. We believe that Matteo’s has continuously been open to student input and concerns, and that his investment into the faculty should not be disregarded simply to increase profit or rent for McGill or an outside food provider.
