The liquor license for 132 Metropolitan Avenue was approved and Max Fish has a new home in Brooklyn. I am beyond relieved to keep this spirit alive after all the uncertainty we faced. Thank you for helping us secure this space where we can continue our history.

Seeing 250 names on this list feels like watching the neon sign flicker back to life. I spent too many nights at the old bar to let the history disappear without a fight and knowing you have my back makes the move feel possible.

Seeing this community rally around the move really proves that Max Fish is more than just a bar. The energy behind this transition is overwhelming and I am grateful to everyone helping us keep the spirit alive in our new home.

LES wont be the same without it. really hope they get the license in williamsburg because that neighborhood needs a real bar not some fancy overpriced cocktail spot.
