To: Chemical Engineering Department and Dr. Upreti

On behalf of the undergraduate students of Chemical Engineering, ChemU would like to make a request for the core course, Mass Transfer (CHE 308), to be offered in either the Spring or Summer 2016 term. This course is a prerequisite for many courses and by not completing Mass Transfer successfully, this will delay many students by a minimum of one year, severely affecting their work terms for co-op and ultimately postponing graduation.

By offering Mass Transfer in either the spring or summer, this will give students the opportunity to complete the course without altering their academic path. The signatures below are of the students who have unsuccessfully passed the course in Winter 2016 or would like an opportunity to better their grade:

Updates

April 4, 2016

The Chemical Engineering Department is ignoring our emails while our graduation plans crumble. Dr. Upreti and the administration need to understand that this oversight is actively sabotaging our co-op careers.

Please offer this in spring. Needing this to graduate on time and winter semester was a total disaster for me. 500672190

It would be very helpful to students who are not in Co-op as Mass transfer is one of the hardest course in Chemical Engineering
