In the light of the recent reports detailing the failure of the Childrens' Services within the Doncaster Council Area, we demand that the elected Mayor, Martin Winter, should resign and accept that it was under his leadership that these failings came about.

I have been reading through all your comments and honestly it is overwhelming how many stories of neglect are coming in from people I never even knew were struggling. It feels like this is bigger than just one person resigning because the systemic issues in Doncaster are clearly deep and I am trying to figure out how to best channel all this anger into a real meeting with the council.

I really never thought this would gain this much steam but here we are and honestly it feels like people are finally waking up to the mess that has been sitting right in front of us for too long. Maybe now the council will have to actually look at what is happening instead of just hiding behind their desks because the noise outside is getting way too loud to ignore.

Finally someone said it. The way these kids were treated is an absolute disgrace and he needs to pack his bags.

RESIGN NOW. Enough is enough. You failed the most vulnerable people in this town and shouldn't be allowed to keep your seat.
