Comments: I rode out there about 2-3 months ago and cried as I left! No words to describe how horrible the conditions are! We surely need a NEW facility for those sweet, innocent babies... God's creatures! NOTHING breathing should be forced to live in such horrific conditions!

I don't understand why the county doesn't turn one of the MANY empty buildings there into a shelter. Shame on the county officials for allowing this to continue .

This shelter really needs help, they have a wonderful caring staff that puts in so much time and effort. With very little to work with...Please build them a new shelter and let's join forces to save lives...Just because the are dogs cats, etc.doesn't mean they have to live in the conditions they are in...Come on Marion County, pets are family members to some of us...Thank you for your help...

It honestly shouldn't matter how you feel about what someone was once offered, most people a main focus are the innocent animals living in this excuse of a shelter. Don't get me wrong these workers try their hardest, but these animals need a better environment. So, as stated above, no need for negativity. If you don't want to sign, fine, but some of us have compassion for living creatures other than ourselves.

The staff at this shelter do the best they can with little resources. I hope the County will step up and make the facility what it needs to be to provide the basic needs the animals and community deserve.
