I was walking past the park today and realized how quiet it actually is even with all this looming over us. I have been spending so many hours combing through council emails and trying to track down who actually has the power to stop the trucks that I almost forgot to just look at the trees myself. It is frustrating that they think they can treat a community space like a temporary storage locker for heavy machinery.

I was just looking at the map again and thinking about how those lorries would actually fit through the gate and frankly it makes my head spin but looking at this surge of support really brings me back to earth. People actually care about the trees and the carnival more than I dared to hope when I first tapped this out on my phone in the park and it just feels like the council might finally have to look up from their spreadsheets.
