CUSTOMER NOTICE
We are sorry to announce that we had to cease selling alcohol, due to a covenant in the head lease, which was transferred from the previous landowner to our landlord. This covenant was to protect the land seller, a brewery, from possible competition.
Consequently, we regret that we would not open on weekend nights until further notice.
The council granted us the license in august 2009, since then we have been serving a limited range of good quality wine & beer without any complaints. That is why we are trying to get a concession from the landlord & the residents.
The proposal is that we if we are going to serve alcohol in the future, we would maintain the previous present opening hours, ensure no noise is audible from the premises in the flats & not cause any annoyance to you.
If you want Mange tout to stay in your neighbourhood please sign the petition below!
Thank you for all your support,
The Mange tout team.
The brewery is hiding behind a legal technicality to crush a local business that has served this neighborhood perfectly for years. We are currently pushing the landlord to ignore this predatory covenant so we can get back to business as usual. Do not let these corporate bullies decide what happens in our community.

ALWAYS quiet and never any trouble. Ridiculous that they have to close down like this. Love Mange Tout.

Keep it open. The area needs businesses like this not more empty shops.

This place is the heart of the street. Such a shame to lose our local spot over some silly old rules. Really hope they can sort this out soon.
