Recently it has been brought to our attention that the management of the Manfeild race circuit have made a new rule that the customer who has paid many thousand of dollars to hire the track can not self cater. Simply put if you're a club, you can not bring along your own BBQ's or similar and do a lunch time sausage sizzel. It has been told to me that the on site catering company, I/ we use that term in the loosest sense, has complained to the management about clubs or a private company such as The Surgery who sponsor the long running Inter-marques series from providing a free and simple BBQ at the prize giving, or clubs like the MG club and Constructors Car Club who put on a members BBQ at lunch time If like us you think this is going beyond their management rights and impinges on the rights of the customer please sign this petition. next step going down this road is will be banning private individuals from bring their own healthy food in a chilly bin and forcing more of that processed crap food that the likes of Gala reheat in their fryers.
