We students find these new requirements to leave class very restricting and a breach of basic rights. As students, we want to feel like we're a safe environment where we're appreciated and respected. When new restrictments like this are put on us, our focus on educational matters diminishes, making us feel like we aren't respected at all in our own school environment. I'm sure there were many discussions which led to this decision. However, you are taking away teaching instruction and distracting the teachers from doing their job. Also, waiting for use of the bathroom facilities may not be possible at certain times for students. Please revoke this rule. Perhaps hiring a bathroom attendant would deter certain problems from arising in or near the bathrooms. Thank you for your prompt attention.
I just think this is a really big inconvenience because it’s hard to use and the way you have to interrupt class to get the teachers attention to leave class.
It takes more time away from class, because the teachers have to stop mid lecture to log in and make and electronic pass rather than having a physical one ready to go like before.
The people they want to stop skipping class won’t go anyways, I don’t want to be timed while I change my tampon.
Reducing the amount of people in the hall isn’t the solution to school shootings, freedom and creating an environment students enjoy is.
