The bike racks on the East side of Tallwood are designated for day use only. There is a shortage between the supply and demand for bike parking spaces close to Tallwood This causes many bikes to be left inconveniently in student's rooms (reducing living space) or unnecessarily far from the building overnight.

A solution is to remove signage and policing such that bike racks may be used overnight.

Accessible bike storage is important to the long term environmental and societal sustainability of the Tallwood building and UBC campus.

Students who can get from point A to point B faster are happier, healthier students! Let's make Tallwood a proper living and learning space for everyone.
