Bicycle racks and repair stations are a good first step in making a more bicycle friendly campus, but we want to take it a step further. We think that bikes are the best way to get around campus, they're faster than walking, cheaper than cars, and you get free exercise. Unfortunately, tens of thousands of people are injured each year on bicycles due to poor safety and infrastructure. We think that the solution to this is bike lanes to divide up the road, and bike share programs to give more people easy access to properly maintained bicycles.
