when I wanted to do a family trip this summer holiday I thought the cinema may be a good place to start, well never again with a son who has disabilitys and a son who dosent it's always hard to find somthing for them to do together.
I had the worst experience at our local odeon a few weeks ago dew to my son not copying with the load noise the speaker is half a meter away from his head, this was only a little bit of what happened
Anyway after I complained I have been offer as a way of apology for " transport to be put on to collect me and my son go to a completely different cinema and back again"
While I appreciate the offer I would just like to be able to take my son out to watch a film on my own I mean are odeon planing on collecting us everytime we wish to watch a film? While is a nice offer its not practical I would like all odeon cinemas to please do autism sceening it's not hard

The momentum is incredible. This is clearly an issue that affects so many of us.

It's a shame that all cinemas don't offer Autism friendly screenings. Not all parents have transport to get to other cinemas, and often public transport is not an option with our children. Also some cannot cope with traing far. Watching screens is often a top favourite activity for ASD kids but normal screenings are overwhelming on the senses. Come on make your cinemas available to all
shame on you odeon, even our wee independent cinema has autistic screenings for kids films and I very much doubt they make money at it
all children with a disability should be able to access this, and cinemas should all be willing to support them
With all the children being diagnosed as being autistic you would think it would be common sense to have cinema showings suitable x
Appalling that kids with special nds cant go to cinema.
I think it is vital that all people that autisism should have every rights as people who don't have. Treat the same. All cinemas should acept all everyone. AUTISISM OR NOT. xx

100% agree with this petition everyone should have the right to do everything and try everything . Whilst I appreciate some of the cinemas are autism friendly they aren't all in distance that is ideal for some families to get to. How hard realistically would it be to provide this service nation wide , it would mean so much to so many families because it could be a family outing enjoyed by all, instead of leaving anyone out due to a disability that is out of there control. Please allow everyone to access your cinemas and enjoy the film's they want to watch in a enjoyable and easier to cope with environment, this would mean so much to so many families if you would.
