We, the undersigned, call upon Bristol City Council to reverse the restriction that currently limits Everyman Cinema’s Baby Club screenings to 12A and under, and to allow films rated up to 15 once more. Baby Club is a vital space for new parents to combat loneliness, meet others, and enjoy a film. The restriction has led to poor film choice, falling attendance, and disappointment among parents. We believe parents are capable of making informed decisions, and those who do not wish to attend a 15-rated screening can simply choose not to come.

Please don’t change this!!! The babies are way to young to be influenced and these mornings are a rare moment of feeling like an autonomous adult in weeks filled of newborn fog. It was such a shame when Watershed changed their policy and Everyman became a lifeline. Please please please reconsider.
My wife is due shortly and is so upset about this, after our first the showings were a haven for her. So disappointed in BCC, first the Watershed and then this, if one person doesn’t feel comfortable just don’t go!
Really disappointing. Parents spend plenty of time engaged in baby classes, activities and chats, a little bit of adult entertainment in the early days can't hurt and can be decided by the parents. Likewise with attending day time comedy and watching TV at home.
As a Bristol parent who enjoyed baby cinema during their postnatal journey, i wholeheartedly endorse freedom of choice for parents of babes in arms who want to relax and feel like an individual again for a mere 90 minutes by watching an age appropriate film. BCC shouldn’t be in the business of nannying parents.
The baby screenings are for parents with very young babies, who aren't aware of things like sex or swearwords on screen. Parents should be trusted to decide what's suitable for them and their babies.
What a stupid ban.
Please bring decent films back for parents with little people. It should be up to the parents to choose whether they attend films or not. The current films are pretty rubbish because of this ban.

Baby cinema can be a real lifeline to parents, in particular mothers on maternity leave. It’s a chance for them to do something “adult” amidst the intensity of caring for a baby. Not showing 15 rated films in baby cinema is insulting and infantilising to mothers.
